Christmas in Lochalshie comes with snow, gossip and absolutely no chance of a quiet life.

Gaby and Jack deserve a break.

They are new parents, pub owners and survivors of enough village drama to fill several festive newsletters. All they want is to get through the Christmas rush at the Lochside Welcome, wave off the hotel guests, and enjoy a proper family celebration.

That may be optimistic.

Gaby’s family is in turmoil, Katya’s love life is wobbling again, Lachlan is behaving suspiciously, and Mhari is making it her seasonal mission to know everyone’s business. Even babysitting help is suddenly in short supply.

With relatives misbehaving, friendships under strain and Lochalshie doing what Lochalshie does best, this Christmas is going to be anything but peaceful.
