When the remains of a young woman are found at the construction site of the new Govan-Partick Bridge, it appears to close a twenty-year-old cold case from DCI John Lomond’s earliest days as a detective.

But a retired detective – Lomond’s former boss – has a controversial theory that cost him his career.
