Challenge Map Paddy Buckley Round

This route was devised by Paddy Buckley and first completed in 1982.The fastest known completion of the round was, for many years 18 hours 10 minutes. This old record was broken in July 2009 to set a new record at 17 hours 42 minutes. Long distance endurance challenges are becoming increasingly popular. This classic circuit of Snowdonia is 61 miles, 47 tops with 28000 ft of ascent. The Round has the reputation of being somewhat tougher to complete than its English Lake District equivalent, The Bob Graham Round. This map is your essential navigational guide.
