Old Keith gives an insight into the ancient town's past. Rothiemay House, the Tower of Milton, Longmore Hall and the so-called 'Auld Brig' all appear. The River Isla is photographed together with the Isla Bank Mills. Other local businesses include William Bremner shoemaker and cobbler and the old wool mill. Learn about Keith's famous sons such as James Ferguson (astronomer) and James Gordon Bennett (founder of the New York Herald). The Gordon Arms Hotel is photographed and there are interesting tales about the whisky smuggling that went on in Keith's past. Grange and Newmill are also featured. There are photographs of the 1909 Annual Camp of the Gordon Highlander Territorials and of much younger soldiers, the Keith Boy Scouts.
